Vectorform Debuts Mixed Reality Experience, HoloFramer, at Microsoft Build 2017
HoloFramer, Vectorform’s Microsoft HoloLens mixed reality (MR) experience, enables interior designers, architects, and curators to use MR to virtually select, frame, and lay out prints for a gallery installation or art exhibit.
SEATTLE, WA —(May 11, 2017)— Vectorform, an invention company focused on digital products and experiences, unveiled its Microsoft HoloLens mixed reality experience, HoloFramer, at Microsoft Build 2017. HoloFramer is used to visualize interior finishings and spatial planning for the home and commercial space.
The experience enables interior designers, architects, and curators to use mixed reality to virtually select, frame, and lay out prints for a gallery installation or art exhibit. Designers will be provided with the tools to browse cloud-based collections of images to preview and purchase.
Photos.com by Getty Images Explores HoloFramer Integration
Vectorform is exploring a partnership with Photos.com by Getty Images to integrate its catalog of content and fulfillment services. The integration would allow customers to use HoloFramer to its fullest potential – enabling them to select and purchase artwork and photography from Photos.com through the mixed reality experience.
“We are very excited about the official launch of HoloFramer and the potential partnership with Photos.com by Getty Images,” said Woody Floyd, Executive Director, Vectorform. “This is going to give designers a unique toolset to experiment with imagery and preview their vision before purchasing.”
HoloFramer Demos at Microsoft Build
Vectorform also demonstrated HoloFramer during Microsoft Build 2017. Conference attendees were able to stop by the Solutions Spotlight on May 12 to experience the capabilities of HoloFramer and see how MR is transforming the customer experience and transforming business.
