This 34-hour event will take place May 2-3, 2015 at the Dali museum in St. Petersburg, Florida and will challenge participants to build an innovative digital experience that is an extension of the out-of-box thinking that was Salvador Dali and Leonardo DiVinci.
Project 34 will bring together teams of developers, designers and technical mentors in a quest to win prizes, showcase their skills to industry executives from across the nation and bring their solution to life.
Participants will be broken down into teams consisting of 4-5 people per team. These teams will optimally consist of 3 developers, 1 designer and 1 technical mentor. As a sanctioned hackathon through Major League Hacking – an entire palette of hardware will be shipped to The Dali Museum and hardware labs will be set up for hackers to check hardware out of to utilize in addition to their laptops and smartphones.
When: Saturday, May 2- Sunday May 3, 2015.

What: At Project 34 teams of developers and designers will have 34 hours to develop an innovative digital experience that is an extension of the out-of-box thinking that was Salvador Dali and Leonardo DiVinci.
Participating teams must finish their code by 5 P.M. on Sunday May 3rd which will be followed by 2 hours of judging and presentations. During this time judges will hear a brief pitch from each team that they will score on a scale of 1-10 in the following categories;
The top 5 teams will then present to the judges and potentially to the wider public audience attending The Dali for the judging/awards ceremony. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
