While 2016 may have focused on VR hardware, 2017 will be the year for VR experiences to take center stage!

2016 was the year of Virtual Reality! Devices like the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR finally hit store shelves after long cycles of development. At Vectorform, we’ve been using these platforms to transform the way we all live and work. From brand recognition and product visualization to cutting edge, high-consequence training, we are inventing the future of digital experiences.

On January 26th at Tech Town Detroit, our very own Kirk Jakubison shared his insights on VR, Augmented Reality (AR), and beyond. He covered the ins-and-outs of developing immersive VR applications. He also gave an inside look at how Vectorform is using the Unity Game Engine to bring our experiences to life, discussing pitfalls and solutions we’ve encountered along the way. Throughout the presentation he also highlighted some of Vectorforms newest projects and discussed how VR can transform any industry, exclaiming that while 2016 may have focused on VR hardware, 2017 will be the year for VR experiences to take center stage!
